Nurra on Google Maps.
Nurra region is located in the north-western part of Sardinia. Its interior is predominantly agricultural and pastoral and there are not many villages. Even the coast is almost uninhabited and this is one of the reasons that makes this stretch of Sardinia an ideal place for trekking enthusiasts. The path begins from the north-west tip of Sardinia which extends towards the Asinara Island. This part, from Stintino to the beaches of Pelosa and Pelosetta, is the area most frequented by tourists, but are enough few kilometers along the coast southwards to discover the wild beauty of Falcone Cape and its rocky cliff overhanging the sea. A long walk along marked paths and well traced along the coast. A vacation for those who love nature, silence and walks near the sea.
