Aitutaki is one islands of the Cook archipelago, a small group of islands in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Each island has its own specific characteristic and Aitutaki is characterized to be surrounded by one of the largest lagoons of the archipelago protected by the coral reef. This natural protection with uninhabited islands inside covered by dense tropical vegetation and the largest island where are located splendid resorts make it the most touristic island of the archipelago. Pristine beaches, sand banks that emerge during low tide and an efficient tourist organization that accompanies tourists to visit the reef and the most remote islands of the lagoon make Aitutaki a small paradise of sea, nature and wellness. The island can be reached by plane of local companies that connect the islands of the archipelago with the capital Rarotonga where the international airport is located.
