Thanks to a program of tourism development in the southern of Jordan, the Wadi Rum National Park has become a reality much appreciated by international tourists who annually attend these remote territories Jordanians. Tented camps with restaurants and even toilets in the tents, are the last frontier of Wadi Rum. Evenings around the campfire or on the dunes to watch the starry sky, excursions by camel or mountain climbing in complete safety on the rock walls of the canyon accompanied by expert guides, are the main entertainments offered by the National Park. Wadi Rum is becoming a multi-populated desert frequented by lovers of the desert, sand and silence. A few hours drive from Petra and from the Dead Sea, the Wadi Rum desert is one of the most important tourist destinations for people visiting Jordan.
