Lausanne on Google Maps
On the shores of Lake Geneva, the city of Lausanne is located on the hills above the port of Ouchy, famous because it is the home of the fleet of paddle steamers world's largest. Not far from the port, there is the modern Olympic Museum dedicated to the Olympics Games. Strolling the streets of the city, you reach the Flon district, the heart of nightlife and shopping. Even the surroundings of the city have to be discovered as the wine cellars almost hidden among the vineyards of Lavaux or medieval castles like that of Chillon. An interesting journey from many points of view, a food and wine tourism, culture and sports, all within a few kilometers along the north-east coast of Lake Geneva.
