The Lausanne Festival of Light and the ancient squares where take place the Christmas markets, are an unforgettable opportunity to live a different Christmas. In the morning, a visit to the district of Ouchy, the port of Lausanne on the Leman Lake, allows you to embark on a paddle steamer, for a cruise on the calm waters of the lake in the atmosphere of old times. After returning, a visit to the modern and interesting Olympic Museum to know the history of Olympic Games. In the afternoon, taking the subway, is possible to reach the old town of Lausanne. The cathedral, the shopping streets and squares with Christmas stalls welcome visitors and in the evening, there is a nice surprise. Along the streets and squares in the old town, the works of artists from around the world, are illuminated by bright lights and vivid colors. The Festival Lausanne Lumières begins. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
