In the village of Vars in French Alps, there is one of the approved tracks for records of speed on the snow with ski, snowboards and bicycles. You read that right, bicycles on the snow. From those common to the prototypes, but all with wheels, pedals, handlebars and brakes. Like every year in Vars, also this year there was a lot of participation with competitors from all over the world but the winner is the great Eric Baron that on 18 th March 2017 at 07:40 in the morning, broke all previous records reaching a speed of 227.720 km/h (141,498 mph), the speed which normally reaches a Ferrari car. Vars is a popular ski resort for the free ride and for KL, adrenaline specialty that always concern the speed on the snow. Thousands of people each year meet along the slopes to watch the speed events and the attempts to beat the world record speed on snow.
