The parks on Google Maps.
Realized on the wooded hills of Sainte Lucie, the wolf park, an area of over 20 hectares, welcomes over 100 wolves from Mongolia, Canada, Poland, Siberia and the Arctic. Thanks to a walk of about one hour, explanatory panels are arranged along the path and observation towers, you can observe the wolves in their environment. In the center, run by the daughter of Gerard Menatory (founder of the park), photos, movies and meeting with the guards of the park let you know this beautiful animal. In the pine forests of Sainte Eulalie, there is the European Bison National Park (Bison bonasus). The European bison is the heaviest surviving wild animal in Europe; a typical European bison is about 2.1 to 3.5 m long and 1.6 to 1.95 m tall for a weigh between 15 and 35 kg.In winter, the only way to get close to the herd of bison is on board of a sleigh pulled by an horse, an animal that does not bother the bison. In summer, the sled is replaced by a carriage. A beautiful trip for adults and children to discover the European bison.
