The Nile on Google Maps.
The Nile cruise has always an ancient charm that attracts more and more tourists. Normally the journey starts (or ends depending of the cruise) from the Cairo town with a visit to the spectacular Egyptian Museum where thousands of archaeological finds are collected, including the treasure found in the tomb of Tutankamon. Impossible do not to visit the site of the pyramids of Giza, Micerino and Kefren and the splendid Sphinx. On cruise ships we go up the river visiting Luxor and Karnak temple. The journey continues by visiting the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the temple of Queen Nefertari and the colossus of Memnon. The boat evenings are pleasant and suggestive while the days follow each other by visiting the temples of Edfu and reaching the Aswan dam. An excursion with Felucca, the typical sailboat of Nile river, allows you to visit the temple of Philae and the Elephantina island.
