The island of Porquerolles, the closest to the city of Hyères and the most visited by the trekking and cycling tourism of the islands that form the archipelago located few nautical miles from the port of La Tour Fondue at the end of the peninsula of Giens. The island of Porquerolles has a mountainous appearance with beautiful beaches along the north side of the island and rugged and wild rocky coasts in the south side. This characteristic makes it an ideal place for relaxing holidays but as well as for long walks along paths that run through the thick woods of the island. In the central part there are olive groves and vineyards, while on the hills there are several castles and fortified citadels. An island where you can rent bicycles of all kinds and enjoy, in the different restaurants on the island, typical dishes based on fresh fish just caught.
