Naxos on Google Maps.
The largest island of the Greek Cyclades archipelago was famous in ancient times for its marble quarries which can still be seen today on the slopes of the mountains within the island. Today Naxos is an island frequented by international tourism for its beautiful beaches and protected huts that allow safe shelters even for those who sail in the archipelago. Visiting Naxos arriving with a motorhome is certainly the solution that allows the greatest degree of freedom and that allows you to visit places hardly visited by seaside tourism. The internal territories, wild and largely uninhabited, offers unusual shows such as terraced crops where olive trees are grown or small villages with local craft shops. An interesting trip to Naxos that allows you to spend not only quiet days on the beaches sunbathing or bathing in the clear coastal waters, but also to take long walks among the mountain olive trees in search of ancient ruins of the past.
